Hoshine targets 1M tons metal silicon incl 700kt organic silicon by end 2022, warns of supply shortage and upward trend in prices

Company produced 790~800kt metal, incl 430kt organic silicon in 2021.

Projects under construction involving metal silicon:

1. Shanshan (Xinjiang) 400kt, expected to complete construction and start production this June; and

2. Yunnan 400kt, expected to complete the construction by end 2022 and start production in Q1 2023.
