What is included in the Solar & BESS News Feed?
The SSX News Feed is an aggregation of news articles published by various open sources (in English and Chinese) and curated into a searchable database showing the title of the articles and their weblinks.
How does SSX select the news articles?
SSX reviews on a daily basis news articles from various open sources.
From all these news pieces, SSX curates what we think are the most important developments across the solar and battery energy storage industries, including manufacturing, pricing, policy, projects, technology, trade, and supply chain updates.
SSX aggregates the curated articles into the SSX News Feed.
It is provided for free to registered users. (See "How do I register and get started?")
How often is the news database updated?
New articles are added every day to keep subscribers informed of fast-moving developments in the solar and BESS sectors.
Does SSX create the news articles?
SSX curates and organises relevant industry news from trusted global sources, but SSX does not write the news articles.
Which sources are the news curated from?
SSX changes the sources from time to time, but the news are curated from established organisations such as PV Magazine, Taiyang News, PV-Tech, etc.
SSX also curates news pieces from various WeChat channels. SSX translates the titles into English.
What is the value of SSX News Feed?
Because the news pieces are curated, SSX News Feed reduces information overload by filtering only those that matter to our subscribers.
China is an important source of information. SSX News Feed lowers the language barrier by giving access to curated and translated news titles/weblinks from various WeChat (Chinese social media platform) channels.
Is the Solar & BESS News Feed free?
Yes. Registered users can access the curated Solar & BESS News Database as part of SSX’s free offering.
Who is the Solar & BESS News Feed designed for?
The platform is designed for developers, EPCs, investors, manufacturers, procurement teams, traders, consultants, and energy market professionals.
